SMG, the management company for Sullivan Arena, is bringing WALKING WITH DINOSAURS – The Arena Spectacular to Alaska.  There will be 8 performances at the Sullivan Arena August 19 – 22.  WALKING WITH DINOSAURS – The Arena Spectacular was brought to North America by The Creature Production Company, headed by CEO Carmen Pavlovic.  Pavlovic said, “The BBC Series was a brilliant blend of special effects, escapism, excitement and information.  Our show brings together all of that, plus something extra - it’s live!   In this production, fifteen roaring, snarling “live” dinosaurs mesmerize the audience – and are as awe-inspiring as when they first walked on earth.”  SMG is proud to bring fifteen-life sized dinosaurs to roam the Sullivan Arena floor – feeding, fighting, protecting their young, defending their territory and convincing a live audience that dinosaurs are alive and present.  They represent state-of-the-art new 360-degree animatronic technology going beyond current techniques that have been developed for the film and TV industries.  Based on the award-winning BBC series, WALKING WITH DINOSAURS – THE ARENA SPECTACULAR is both a study in natural history and an engaging, innovative piece of live entertainment. 

WALKING WITH DINOSAURS – The Arena Spectacular will perform 8 performances at the Sullivan Arena: Thursday, August 19 at 7PM, Friday, August 20^th at 3PM and 7PM, Saturday, August 21^st at 11AM, 3PM and 7PM and Sunday, August 22^nd at 12Noon and 4PM.

2010 KENDALL JUMP SHOT BASKETBALL CAMP

Jump into summer fun at the KENDALL Jump Shot Basketball Camp!   Summer 2010 camp dates:   June 21 - 25 and July 19 - 23.  UAA Seawolves Basketball Coach, Rusty Osborne, & UAA Staff and Players put the FUN into Fundamentals for Girls and Boys Ages 6-16!  Peanut Camp is for ages 6-10, Varsity Camp is for ages 11-16, and Elite Camp is for Advanced Competitive Players.  Campers compete in an array of similar age and skill levels.  Daily Camp Hours are from 9A-4P, but for the convenience of Working Parents, Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:00A, and picked up as late as 5:00P!  Camp Tuition is $195.00 and includes Coaching Instruction, A Camp T-Shirt, A New Camp Basketball, End-of-Camp BBQ, and Lots of FUN!  Subway lunch packages and photo packages are also available.  CAMP FILLS FAST!
